We are looking for a Junior Fairest of the Fair contestant (Grades 7-9) and a Fairest of the Fair (18 years and older) to represent Grant County at Community events. The deadline for entries is April 13th with the final competition for the Fairest on April 30th and the Junior Fairest will be notified on April 17th. The Eckstein Exhibit Hall was used for the first time for the 2011 Grant County Fair. We built the building for the youth of the county. The dioramas, scale models, & Legos & K'nex projects were on display and judged. We also had vendors there to display their products and services. We have a paver display that will be completed next spring outside the Hall. If there is someone that supports the youth of the county and the Grant County Fair the pavers can be purchased in their name. The 4x8's are $ 150 and the 8x8's are $250. We also have plaques inside the hall that can be purchased. The Bronze plaques are $ 500-$999, Silver $ 1,000-$1,999 Gold $ 2,000-$4,999 and Platinum $5,000 and over.
